Field Trip: Churchill Downs
See Churchill Downs like you’ve never seen it before and get inspired to write! This is a members-only event and offered at no-cost (other than lunch and souvenirs).
This an early morning tour of the backside, followed by an early lunch at the track kitchen with time for writing and discussion. We will be done by noon.
This is a members only event and is limited to the first fifteen people who sign up. If you wish to attend, you must register online on the WWW webpage by Wednesday, June 19th. You must include your phone number and email in your registration. You will be contacted through email with more details including directions and meet-up time after you register.
Tickets to attend the races later in the day are not included but can be purchased at the front gate.
If rain is in the forecast, please note that umbrellas are not allowed at Churchill Downs and you will need to bring a raincoat.
