Membership: Our goal is to encourage, support, and educate all women who aspire to write. Our group is diverse and dynamic, and includes writers who are just starting out, those who are newly published, and those in the middle of their careers.
Women Who Write holds several events including monthly meetings, annual retreats, and workshops every year.
Monthly meetings: All women who write or aspire to write are invited to the monthly meetings of Women Who Write. These meetings offer women writers the opportunity to meet, read and critique, share ideas, and create new work. Meetings are on the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Highland-Shelby Park Library reading room, in the Mid City Mall, 1250 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40204.
Retreat: One wonderful benefit of membership in Women Who Write is the group’s free annual writing retreat.
Book fairs and festivals: Join us as we travel to book fairs and festivals. They are a wonderful way to meet your favorite authors, interact with other writers, and purchase the latest books. Many book fairs also offer writing workshops and classes. Here are some local and regional book fairs.BECOME A MEMBER
