We will write, read, talk about writing, and laugh at the Hopscotch House, 8221 Wolf Pen Branch Road, Prospect, Ky., 40059, during our annual fall retreat. Scheduled for Fri., Oct. 21, 3:00 p.m., through Sun., Oct. 23, at 3:00 p.m., join us for reflection, rejuvenation, respite, and refreshment. Come for all or part of the retreat. Laura Johnsrude is preparing a Sign-up Genius for participants to bring salad, vegetables, desserts, casseroles, etc., for specific meals. We still have room for overnight guests, who need to provide their own linen, towels, and toiletries. Other suggested items include walking shoes, comfortable layered clothes, camera, laptop, and journal. Directions
From downtown Louisville, take I-71 N toward Cincinnati to I-264
Exit unto Brownsboro Rd. Turn left unto Brownsboro Rd. and head toward Prospect.
Take right onto Wolf Pen Branch Rd. approximately .5 mile, take left at the 4-way stop at Green Springs Subdivision to continue on Wolf Pen Branch Rd.
Approximately 1.5 miles to stop sign at Wolf Pen Branch Rd. and Spring Farm Rd. take left to continue on Wolf Pen Branch Rd. Follow for .75 mile and take a left onto the driveway at 8221 Wolf Pen Branch Rd.
Cross the creek, go up the hill and follow drive about .5 mile. Hopscotch House is the large yellow farmhouse on the right surrounded by black fencing. Park by the front of the house or towards the grass on the carport side.
