On May 13, we’re back at the St. Matthews library branch with a special poetry workshop: Reading and Writing Poetry: Sing It, Dance It, Shape It! featuring Lennie Hay. Participants will read and discuss selected modern and contemporary poems, including some of Lennie’s. The discussion will highlight elements of poetry in order to explore what makes a piece of writing a poem. Participants will also generate writing applying elements of poetry.
