Women Who Write | A Place, A Space, A Voice | Louisville, Kentucky WWW member Jeannie Waldridge recently learned that she won second place in the Women on Writing international flash fiction contest for her story “The Church Meeting,” set in the fictional town of Crawford, Kentucky. Jeannie has shared several of her Crawford stories with the group. It’s nice to see her get recognition for her work. Jeannie also gave a shout out to Women Who Write in her bio that appears with the story online.
Cheri Powell held a signing for her new book, Marketing Your Book Using the Internet, at A Readers’ Corner on June 26. Her book includes the techniques Cheri used to successfully market her first self-published book Seven Tips to Make the Most of the Camino de Santiago.
