1. Women Who Write Member, author, and Assistant Professor Selene Phillips will teach a three-week news writing class this May at the University of Louisville. 2. Women Who Write Member Kimberly Crum will present “Micro-memoir: True stories in 500 words or less,” a four-week workshop for writing essays and memoirs. Participants will compose new work in small bites. The vignette, flash or postcard prose can stand alone or be part of a collection whose unrelated parts form a whole. Classes begin Wednesday, May 15 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and are held at the Shape and Flow Writing Studio. Register for this class at www.safw.com

Women Who Write Member Susan Lindsey will present “The Devil’s in the Details: Research for Nonfiction Writers,” a writer’s workshop on conducting research to ensure your book credible and accurate. Participants will learn more about how to locate and cite sources and complying with copywrite law. Bring a laptop or writing materials.
